One of my favorite things about golf is the time spent with friends. Drinking some beers, enjoying the weather, and talking some trash. Unfortunately, golf doesn’t always love the drinking beer and talking trash part.
I read an article about Brooks Koepka talking about the same thing in 2020. Golf traditions are nice, but some of them are pretty stuck up. I thought it was total BS when the guys from the Fore Play Podcast caught some heat for fist bumping Tiger at the Master’s. Tiger didn’t care…why should these other people?
After seeing those events unfold and thinking of how golf tradition can at times be a barrier to younger people, I decided to make something happen.
The Brolo is a product of a SHIT TON of work over the last year. Building out size charts (remember, there’s no such thing as a men’s sleeveless polo until now!), building out a website, sourcing product, getting multiple samples and refining them…I’m glad to be finally done and able to offer a product I can be proud of.
Our goal is to include as many people as possible in the game of golf, and maybe make it a little less traditional. We hope the Brolo will be a part of that movement.
